LUCY DACUS - Forever Is A Feeling CD/LP/CASS (Geffen)
Widely regarded as "one of the best songwriters of her generation" (Rolling Stone), Lucy Dacus returns with Forever Is A Feeling. Following a career-defining run with boygenius that earned her three GRAMMY Awards, her fourth solo studio album explores falling in and out of love, the tumult of desire, and larger than life romance. Across 13 tracks that range from lush arrangements to simple declarations, Dacus makes a serious inquiry into what it looks like to dedicate one's life to true love, and a valiant attempt to capture the elusive, fleeting feeling of forever.

PERFUME GENIUS - Glory CD/LP (Matador)
Mike Hadreas’ seventh album is muscular, filled out by his partner in life and songcraft Alan Wyffels and longtime producer Blake Mills alongside the fiercest band Perfume Genius has ever assembled: guitarists Meg Duffy and Greg Uhlmann, drummers Tim Carr and Jim Keltner, and bassist Pat Kelly. These players marshall their power, and Hadreas his macabre imaginings and gallows humor, to humane ends. Perfume Genius pries open a mildewed den full of alienation, longing and desire and lets it bask in the sunlight.

YUKIMI (Little Dragon) - For You LP (Ninja Tune)
Flying solo is a state of independence, a sense of liberation, an intrepid yet intimate act. For singer-songwriter Yukimi Nagano, the celebrated vocalist and co-founder of Grammy-nominated outfit Little Dragon, it is all these things and more. Yukimi’s debut solo album, For You, sees her step away from a band formation while staying with the always innovative Ninja Tune label – and creating some of her most beautiful work to date: both intensely personal, and brilliantly relatable. Yukimi’s voice remains unmistakable on For You; she elegantly entwines musical styles from jazz, soul and electronic pop to hip hop, roots and psychedelia, but her new song themes dig deeper than ever, across love, loss, feminine energy and innate resilience. Her decision to take a solo route also marks a new chapter in her accomplishments, which have included seven acclaimed albums with Little Dragon (most recently, 2023’s Slugs Of Love), and memorable guest spots with acts such as Gorillaz, De La Soul, DJ Shadow, SBTRKT and BADBADNOTGOOD, as well as becoming a mother to two young children.

DEAN WAREHAM - That's The Price Of Loving Me CD/LP (Carpark)
That’s the Price of Loving Me is the third solo album by Dean Wareham (Galaxie 500, Luna, Dean & Britta), and his first album with producer Kramer since 1990’s This Is Our Music. Recorded in Los Angeles with Britta Phillips on bass and vocals, Anthony LaMarca (The War on Drugs) and Roger Brogan on drums. The upcoming record includes eight new Wareham compositions plus covers of Nico and Mayo Thompson

SEEFEEL - Quique CD/LP (Too Pure)
Originally released in 1993, Quique was the first album by the UK band Seefeel, and it became a must-have for any serious collector of ambient techno. Released by too pure, the album was reissued in expanded form as Quique Redux on cd in 2007. We are excited to make both releases available again, newly remastered by Geoff Pesche at Abbey Road. Quique is available as a double LP, and Quique Redux is available on 2XCD with new artwork.

UNREST - Perfect Teeth CD/LP (4AD)
Bowing out at their creative peak, Perfect Teeth is the wonderful final album by American 90s indie rock greats Unrest. Having just clocked 30 years, 4AD and the band are revisiting it to present a remastered edition of the original album on black vinyl. Alongside a celebratory double CD of Perfect Teeth / Extra Teeth; the album remastered plus a bonus disc of EP tracks, singles and rarities. Borrowing their name from a Henry Cow record, Unrest formed in 1983 at Wakefield High School in Arlington, Virginia (just outside of Washington, D.C.). Beginning as an improv instrumental band, they were soon perfecting genre-hopping eclecticism and issuing recordings (often in cassette form) via frontman Mark Robinson’s DIY label TeenBeat, as well as on notable labels such as 4AD, Caroline and Matador.

COCOROSIE - Little Death Wishes CD/LP (Joyful Noise)
For just over twenty years, Bianca and Sierra Casady have transmuted the love, hardship, and ecstasy of sisterhood into some of the most daring, dangerous, and wildly original music our increasingly sanitized culture has known. CocoRosie has been a project consistently at the musical vanguard, influencing countless musicians while inspiring and creating refuge for the "criminal queers" of the world. Above all, CocoRosie has been a conduit for irrepressible artistic self realization. Little Death Wishes is as open and tenderhearted as anything they've ever created. The songs tell a kaleidoscopic story of the generational hardship of women and the shattered realities of their lives, the precarious and precious nature of being human, of being done wrong by love, and a final wish to be unbroken.

DEAFHEAVEN - Lonely People With Power CD/LP (Roadrunner)
Lonely People with Power follows the band's 2021 album Infinite Granite and is the band's first release on Roadrunner Records. The album was produced by Justin Meldal-Johnsen, who also produced Infinite Granite. The lead single from the album is "Magnolia," accompanied by a music video directed by Sean Stout and Chelsea Jade.

SURE FIRE SOUL ENSEMBLE - Gemini CD/LP (Colemine)
For San Diego's 9-piece (mostly) instrumental combo The Sure Fire Soul Ensemble, Jazz and Funk have always been the two genres that they've consistently and effectively melded together, forming the bedrock of their sound. Exercising their stylistic curiosity and versatility, they've expanded upon this foundation on their new 11-song long player for Colemine Records. Recorded between late 2021 and early 2024 at The Kitchen II in their homebase of Lemon Grove, California, SFSE steer their "introspective party music" into fresh sonic realms. While their breakbeat-heavy brand of funk-soul-jazz is still the cornerstone of their sound, as displayed in tunes such as "Makin' Moves", "The Grifter" & "Don't Trip", they've begun to take more and more cues from library music labels such as KPM Music, spiritually-leaning jazz labels such as Tribe & Black Jazz Records and exotica-adjacent jazz artists such as Cal Tjader and Dorothy Ashby.

DESTROYER - Dan's Boogie CD/LP (Merge)
Dan's Boogie is a breakthrough album for Destroyer, both in the sense that it makes moves that no Destroyer album to this point has made, and in the sense that, to record it, Bejar had to burst through a series of intentional and unintentional barriers to write the songs. Initially challenging himself to not write songs so the ideas would well up inside of him until they breached containment, the months following the completion of LABYRINTHITIS turned into one year then two, at which point Bejar gave himself a New Year's resolution to play the piano every day for an hour. That lasted about four days, but the songs Bejar credits as coming from that resolution-"Cataract Time," "Hydroplaning Off the Edge of the World," "Bologna," and "Dan's Boogie" among them-are all-timer Destroyer songs across the vast spectrum Bejar and his collaborators have established for themselves: spectacle-laden pop epics, personal piano ballads, and smouldering works of mood that blur the lines between song and novel and cinema, each brimming with the urgency of a state secret in the mind of a tortured spy.

THE SMILE - Don't Get Me Started / Instant Psalm The Remixes (INDIE EXCLUSIVE) (XL)
2024 was a massive year for The Smile (Thom Yorke, Tom Skinner, Jonny Greenwood) with two critically acclaimed albums released in those 12 months and appearing on Best of Year lists for Billboard, Pitchfork, The Independent, Treblezine and many more. This latest offering brings together band favorite James Holden and frequent collaborator Robert Stillman to provide their epic takes on CUTOUTS singles. Holden’s remix of ‘Don’t Get Me Started’ brings the original into a cosmic realm of looping analogue and rhythmic complexity, whilst the AA side ‘Instant Psalm’ from Stillman is a sonically transportive adventure across many forms.

SPELLLING - Portrait Of My Heart CD/LP (Sacred Bones)
On Chrystia Cabral's fourth album as SPELLLING, the Bay Area artist transforms her acclaimed avant-pop project into a mirror. Cabral's lyrics for Portrait of My Heart tackle love, intimacy, anxiety, and alienation, trading the allegorical approach of much of her previous work for something pointed into her human heart. The album's thematic forthrightness is echoed in its arrangements, making it the sharpest, most direct SPELLLING album to date.

KINSKI - Stumbledown Terrace LP (Comedy Minus One)
Kinski’s journey through experimental melody and noise is a full-bore sensory thrill ride. Described by NME as “like Sabbath in a washing machine during a power surge,” Kinski is back to its original power trio format of Chris Martin (guitar), Lucy Atkinson (bass) and Barrett Wilke (drums). After 25 years and nine albums, including a trio on Sub Pop and three for Kill Rock Stars, Kinski has toured internationally with the likes of Acid Mothers Temple, Mission of Burma, Dead Meadow, Comets on Fire, and somehow even Tool. On their Comedy Minus One debut Stumbledown Terrace, Kinski continues their exploration of heavy, provocative guitar-driven songs, sonorous rhythms, and emotional release.

UNKNOWN MORTAL ORCHESTRA - Ic-02 Bogota LP (Jagjaguwar)
The band Unknown Mortal Orchestra sometimes enjoys making purely instrumental music. In addition to the vocal-based records they're more well-known for, they've also begun to make an instrumental series called the IC where they spend time in a chosen city and improvise and collaborate on non-vocal music. Recently the band spent time in Colombia to make music and initiate their new keyboard player Christian LI. The resulting sessions have become IC-02 Bogota, a musical document of the time they spent in that exciting city and the possible background music for some strange parties and night drives in your future.

MUMFORD & SONS - Rushmere CD/LP (Glassnote)
MUMFORD & SONS are back with their fifth studio album Rushmere, produced by Dave Cobb (Brandi Carlile, Jason Isbell, Sturgill Simpson). The 10 track album is a triumphant return to form, with upbeat foot-stompers Rushmere, Truth, & Caroline alongside tender ballads such as Monochrome & Where It Belongs.

KINGS OF CONVENIENCE - Riot On An Empty Street LP reissue (PIAS)
The 2004 album Riot On An Empty Street showcases Kings of Convenience at their finest, blending folk, pop, and indie influences with their trademark harmonies. Featuring beloved tracks like "Homesick," "Misread," and the duet "Know-How" with Feist, this reissue on black vinyl brings back the warm, intimate sound that made the album a fan favorite. A must-have for those who appreciate subtle, melodic songwriting.

EIKO ISHIBASHI - Antigone LP (Drag City)
Antigone is a chilling look at our already-alternate reality, coming from inside Eiko Isibashi’s own head. Her band brings a wide array of sounds and moods, shading pop, funk and jazz, ambient, electronic and musique concrète in a bittersweet latticework. Interlocking her new songs in seamless long-play flow with the compositional ambitions of her acclaimed soundtrack work (and with the presence of Jim O'Rourke on keyboards and at the mixing desk), Eiko’s expressions are epic and intimate.

WILLIAM ONYEABOR - Body and Soul LP reissue (Luaka Bop)
This is the limited 10th anniversary color edition of William Onyeabor’s BODY AND SOUL. Ten years later, the music still makes you happy. Now dance! Comes in a special color version, in Cross River Basin Blue.

WILLIAM ONYEABOR - Atomic Bomb LP reissue (Luaka Bop)
This is the limited 10th anniversary color edition of William Onyeabor’s ATOMIC BOMB. 10 years later, the music still EXPLODES. Now comes in a special color version, in Fission Red.

FEELIES - Time For A Witness LP reissue (Integral)
Time for a Witness is the fourth studio album by the American rock band The Feelies, released in 1991 on A&M/Coyote and co-produced by Gary Smith. Ensemble playing was always vital to The Feelies, and Time for a Witness is a superb document of the musicians' interaction. The band would tape their rehearsals and look for interesting parts in the jams. "What She Said" uses harmonica and slide guitar. "Real Cool Time" is a cover of the Stooges song. Throughout Time for a Witness, what The Feelies say isn't as important as how they say it, and their sonic articulation here is outstanding. The band broke up only months after this LP was released. Despite its flaws, Time for a Witness shows they bowed out in proud form.

FEELIES - Only Life LP reissue (Integral)
Only Life is the third album by the American rock band The Feelies. Released in 1988, it peaked at No. 173 on the Billboard 200. Described as an updated and mature form of their debut album, Crazy Rhythms, it features fewer acoustic tracks, and a greater focus on speedy jangle-strum rockers. The album iuncludes a cover of the Velvet Underground's "What Goes On

VARIOUS - STUDIO ONE SHOWCASE 45 Expanded Edition LP (Soul Jazz)
Soul Jazz Records' Studio One Showcase 45 features a roll call of classic Studio One reggae legends including Horace Andy, Cornell Campbell, Bob Marley and The Wailers, Jackie Mittoo, The Heptones, The Skatalites and more – seminal reggae artists who all launched their careers at the legendary Studio One label. // The album was previously only ever released as a long-deleted limited-edition seven-inch box set for Record Store Day. This album has now been expanded into a super double-vinyl album edition.

SACRED PAWS - Jump Into Life CD/LP (Merge)
Glasgow/London duo of Ray Aggs (Trash Kit, Shopping) and Eilidh Rodgers (Golden Grrrls) took their roots in the punk world and wound it together with myriad influences, from Afrobeat through pop and post-punk, to create a glorious and unique hybrid. Composed of 11 new songs, it takes the roots of the Sacred Paws project and breathes fresh life into it, blossoming into something both abundant and more colorful than has come before-a gentle skewing of their signature sound that feels wildly thrilling.

CHARLIE MEGIRA - Boom Chaka Boom Boom LP (Numero)
Charlie Megira's self-reflexive final album found him far from his Beth She'an Valley home and surrounded by a new cast of Hillbillies. After spending 15 years toying with goth, sound collage, grunge, and dark wave, Boom Chaka Boom Boomis a sprawling mix of plunking country blues, Black Lodge terror, ambient montages, 17th century Lutheran hymns, and noodling spaghetti western kitsch. Deck his soul with gladness.

BEN LAMAR GAY - Downtown Castles Can Never Block The Sun LP (International Anthem)
Ben LaMar Gay’s de facto debut album, Downtown Castles Can Never Block The Sun, was our attempt to introduce the legendary Chicago composer / improvisor / renaissance man to the rest of the world with a compilation of tracks from “7 albums he made over 7 years but never made the effort to actually release.” The material showcases Gay’s penchant for genre-hopping—from Reich-ian soundscape voyages to Don Cherry-esque polyrhythm treks to Jorge Ben-style vocal-and-string earworms—while keeping his singular musical voice in focus. In the years since its release, this long OOP collection has become a touchstone, foreshadowing the breadth and scope of Ben LaMar Gay’s output since.

ROB MAZUREK - Alternate Moon Cycles LP reissue International Anthem)
Rob Mazurek’s Alternate Moon Cycles was International Anthem's first release. The incredibly spare single-note-centered cornet, bass, and organ chant was recorded to tape at pint-sized Chicago bar Curio as part of a performance series that predates any notion of the label’s existence. Now this long-gone gem of supernatural frequency excavation is back in print with fresh liner notes by Mikel Patrick Avery and obi design by Aaron Lowell Denton.

MESS ESQUE - Jay Marie, Comfort Me LP (Drag City)
A bold third missive from the Australian duo – Helen Franzmann (McKisko) and Mick Turner (Dirty Three, Tren Brothers) - who sound like they literally dreamed themselves into being, and perhaps might even still be in the dream! Propelling their uniquely twisted aural circus to heights of exaltation and effect, Mess Esque build out their handmade, openhearted soul into new dimensions, pushing them – and yeah, us! – into more vivid states of being.

CROOKED STILL - Shaken By A Low Sound LP (Signature Sounds)
Limited red colored vinyl LP pressing of Crooked Still's acclaimed album, Shaken By A Low Sound. Two tracks, "Little Sadie" and "Ecstasy" were prominently featured on the Playstation video game, The Last of Us which became the Emmy-nominated show (2023) on HBO. Originally released in 2006, Shaken By A Low Sound cemented Crooked Still's reputation as one of the premiere alternative bluegrass groups of the mid-aughts, shattering preconceptions of how traditional music was played.

THE DARKNESS - Dreams On Toast LP (Cooking Vinyl)
Dreams on Toast marks a bold new chapter for the band. With their signature blend of flamboyant rock anthems and tongue-in-cheek lyrics, this album cements their place at the pinnacle of British rock. Expect soaring guitar riffs, infectious hooks, and a nostalgic yet fresh take on the genre that will resonate with longtime fans and new listeners alike.

UNDEROATH - Place After This One LP (MNRK)
180 gram Translucent Ruby colored vinyl... UNDEROATH reinvents the balance between chaos and harmony with each successive release. Their compositions, conjured from creative tension, become iconoclastic anthems.

TOM ZE - Todos Os Olhos LP reissue (Elemental)
180-Gram High Quality Virgin Vinyl - Limited Gatefold Edition. One of the most celebrated and emblematic LPs of Brazilian music, Todos Os Olhos was an album in which Tom Ze presented, with a lot of courage, a different way of fighting his country's military dictatorship. "This was the record that took me out of circulation," explained Tom Ze. "Until then I was played on the radio." However, he admitted that, "This album is something so joyful that I've done, that I don't even know how to explain. It was the best thing I've accomplished after years of incomprehensible lack of motivation. I noticed that my heart could stand being unpopular, and this conviction spread comfortably inside me. This record had the faculty of bringing back my internal joy."

MINISTRY - Squirrelly Years Revisited LP (Cleopatra)
Industrial metal rebel and icon Al Jourgensen finally makes peace with his past, exhuming a dozen of the best songs from his early synthwave years for a thoroughly brutal makeover! Includes brand new studio re-animations of songs from the 1983 classic With Sympathy as well as early Wax Trax singles like "Everyday Is Halloween," "All Day," "I'm Falling" and more!

JAMES ELKINGTON - Pastel De Nada LP (No Quarter)
A new 2xLP set where the 27 tracks amount to more of a toolkit than a library. Bright, optimistic strums like 'The Lyre Concordia', layered meditations like 'Morny in the Earling' and 'The Caves at Aurangabad', and tracks like 'The Equal Spacing' that tick and whir like little machines for generating joy. Elkington squares his guitars off against textures, atmospheres and whispers of percussion.

NAILS - You Will Never Be One Of Us LP (Nuclear Blast)
You Will Never Be One Of Us says it all, really. The album title for Nails' third full-length (and first for Nuclear Blast) is a veritable blast of awesomeness. From the opening title track to mid-album bomb "Violence Is Forever" to the epic closer "They Come Crawling Back," "You Will Never Be One Of Us" is an evolutionary step for Nails. On Limited trans green vinyl

HORRORS - Night Life CD/LP (Fiction)
Nearly 20 years since they first began, there are few bands who've created a canon as determinedly innovative and consistently critically acclaimed as The Horrors. They're musicians who'll funnel everything they are into the process, at the expense of health, wealth and sometimes sanity. And so, whilst sixth album Night Life sees the band once more shapeshift into a new form with a new sonic outlook and - this time - a new line up, in some ways The Horrors are still as they ever were.

SNOOP DOGGY DOGG - Doggystyle LP (Death Row)
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Snoop Dogg's multi- platinum Doggystyle, heralded as one of the most important albums of all time, Death Row Records will be bringing this back to retail with the original 1993 track listing on vinyl. This new 30th Anniversary edition will include the track "Gz Up, Hoes Down" which has not been on the album since it's pressing in 1993. For new and old fans alike, this is the definitive version of the classic album that launched Snoop's solo career and helped define the sound of Los Angeles in the process. Clear vinyl with Death Row slipmat.
